Pages for the games Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator have unexpectedly appeared in the Xbox and PlayStation digital stores. Currently, the games are not available for purchase, but this could change very soon. The official announcement of the console versions of ETS 2 and ATS is expected during one of the events at Gamescom, which takes place this week.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is one of the most popular simulators of all time. Although the game was originally released back in 2012, developers at SCS Software continue to actively support and expand their creation. The project regularly receives major paid expansions that add new countries and cities to the map of Europe, as well as free updates that introduce new trucks, improve graphics, and add new gameplay mechanics.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 can rightfully be called a phenomenon in the gaming industry. On Steam, the game boasts a 96% positive review rating based on over 670,000 user reviews. Players praise it for its relaxing and immersive atmosphere, incredible attention to detail, and excellent driving physics. For a long time, enjoying meditative journeys across Europe was only possible on PC.

By the way, the developers recently announced a new expansion titled Project Coaches, which will allow players to take on the role of a passenger bus driver. The project is still in early development, but the foundation for new gameplay mechanics is already being laid, bus models with unique driving physics are being created, and a network of bus terminals across the map is being developed. A release date has not yet been announced.
