Taiwan's United Daily News reports that an NVIDIA processor based on ARM architecture may debut in Alienware laptops by late 2025 or early 2026. Rumors suggest NVIDIA is developing an APU in collaboration with MediaTek. The upcoming ARM processor is expected to feature integrated graphics using NVIDIA's Blackwell architecture, with a power consumption ranging from 80 to 120 watts.

Recently, the YouTube channel Moore's Law is Dead showcased an image of an unidentified NVIDIA chip, believed to be this very ARM-based APU.

NVIDIA's APU could significantly improve gaming performance on Windows on ARM platforms. While Qualcomm's Snapdragon X processors can also run games, they don't offer the same level of compatibility and performance.

Notably, NVIDIA isn't the only company challenging Qualcomm in the desktop ARM processor market. According to rumors, AMD is developing its own ARM chip for Microsoft Surface laptops. If both products come to market, this could intensify competition and potentially accelerate the development of Windows on ARM platforms.
