Mozilla has announced the release of Firefox 138.0, bringing several useful improvements aimed at enhancing usability and workflow organization.

Key new features:

  • Profile management. A new profile management interface lets you create separate profiles for work, study, vacation planning, and other activities. You can now rename profiles, add avatars and color schemes to make them easier to identify. Bookmarks, tabs, and browsing history remain fully isolated within each profile.
  • Weather in address bar (US only). Users in the United States can now get weather information directly in the address bar dropdown. Simply start typing a weather-related query or city name.
  • Tab Groups feature, offering a new way to organize and manage tabs, is now available to all users. To create a group, drag one tab onto another and hold before releasing. You can now also drag entire tab groups across the tab bar.
  • Improved Windows 11 integration. Context menus and popups in Firefox now use Acrylic styling to better match the Windows 11 design language.
  • Link copying in macOS and Linux. macOS and Linux users can now copy links from background (inactive) tabs via right-click context menu.

If you already use Firefox, simply check for updates in browser settings to get the new version. You can also download Firefox 138 directly from the official website.
