Microsoft has announced the start of testing new text formatting features in the Notepad app for Windows Insiders. Users will now be able to apply bold, italic, and underline styles, as well as change fonts and their sizes.

These updates aim to make Notepad more convenient for basic text editing without switching to more advanced editors. The feature will gradually roll out to Windows 11 users in the Insider Program.
