Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 preview build (version 24H2) numbered 26120.4452 (KB5060836) for Windows Insiders on the Beta channel.

Microsoft has introduced a personalized homepage for the Recall feature, helping users quickly access important apps and websites. This dashboard displays frequently used content and recent activity cards for seamless task resumption.

After enabling Recall snapshots, the homepage becomes your productivity hub showing:

• Recent snapshots: Latest Recall captures to continue where you left off
• Top apps/sites: Your three most-used applications and websites from the past 24 hours

Configure Recall settings in Settings > Privacy & security > Recall. Details on Microsoft's support page.

The update also adds a navigation panel (left side) with quick access to Recall's core functions: Home, Timeline, Feedback, and Settings.

Users can now reposition brightness/volume/airplane mode/virtual desktop indicators to:

• Top-left corner
• Top-center
• Bottom-center (default)

Configure in Settings > System > Notifications under "Popup indicator position."

  • Improved performance when navigating SharePoint-synced locations

  • Corrected update history sorting in Settings > Windows Update > Update history > Uninstall updates
