Changelog

- Updated Country and Operator Settings Asset (COSA) profiles for certain mobile operators.
- Device Management:
- Fixed an issue where removable storage policies incorrectly blocked external devices such as USB drives and memory cards.
- Family Safety:
- Fixed an issue where the "Request approval" prompt did not appear when attempting to open restricted applications. With Family Safety settings enabled, the expected approval request now appears as intended.
- File Explorer:
- Fixed an issue where a small number of Insiders saw only a single folder (e.g., "Desktop") displayed on the Home page in File Explorer.
- Fixed an issue where performance when navigating File Explorer and opening context menus degraded significantly as the number of SharePoint sites synchronized with File Explorer increased. This also affected file launch performance.
- File Sharing:
- Fixed an issue where accessing files in an SMB (Server Message Block) shared folder over QUIC (Quick UDP Internet Connections) could result in unexpected delays.
- File System:
- Fixed an issue in the Resilient File System (ReFS) where enabling deduplication and compression simultaneously could occasionally cause the system to become unresponsive.
- Input:
- Fixed an issue where certain extended Unicode characters, such as rare Chinese ideographs, were displayed as spaces or incorrect glyphs in Windows text fields. These characters now render correctly and comply with the GB18030-2022 standard.
- Fixed an issue with the Chinese (Simplified) Input Method Editor (IME) where certain extended characters appeared as blank squares.
- Narrator:
- Fixed an issue where Narrator incorrectly read the checkbox label "Enhance face recognition security" in Windows Hello face recognition settings.
- Network Connections:
- Fixed an issue where Wi-Fi could not automatically reconnect after a Group Policy update.
- Remote Desktop:
- Fixed an issue where cameras were not displayed in remote sessions after being added or removed. Reconnected cameras were not recognized in Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments.
- Windows Backup for Organizations:
- Introduced the new "Windows Backup for Organizations" feature. It enables a seamless transition between devices through enterprise-grade backup and restore capabilities. Whether you're upgrading your organization’s device fleet, migrating to Windows 11, or deploying AI-powered PCs, this solution helps maintain productivity with minimal disruption, ensuring business continuity and operational resilience.
